A Celebration of 33+ Years of Service
Christ Chapel has been blessed for over 33 years by the love and leadership of Senior Pastor Bill Roberts and his devoted wife, Lynna. After more than three decades of service, they have prayerfully sought the Lord and have announced that they will be retiring from full time ministry June 30th, 2021 and will be rejoining their family in the Pacific Northwest.
The body of Christ Chapel has been extremely blessed by their dedication and heart to serve the Northern Virginia community throughout their tenure. The church has seen enormous growth and countless lives touched through Christ Chapel Ministries and Christ Chapel Academy. Under Pastor Roberts' leadership, the church has grown to over 2000 congregants and is involved in missionary work around the world.
While we have gained a deep affection and appreciation for the years of love demonstrated by Pastor Bill & Lynna Roberts, we’re equally excited for what God is going to do through Christ Chapel in the future. We invite you to check this webpage for important transition communication updates and details about the Farewell Celebration for Pastor Bill & Lynna Roberts.
A Farewell Event will be announced in the coming months. We look forward in the months ahead to celebrating the life, love, and legacy of Pastor Bill & Lynna Roberts. To Pastor Roberts and Lynna:
“We give thanks to God always for you… making mention of you in our prayers;”
1 Thessalonians 1:2

After 33 years, the church’s long-time senior pastor will soon retire, leading to this opportunity. The elders and congregation have embraced God’s leading to seek a Senior Pastor for our diverse, dynamic, multicultural, multiethnic, and multigenerational church.
We want to build upon a foundation that can lead us to fulfilling God's vision in our community as we continue to serve and grow His Kingdom. We are a discipling, equipping, community-oriented church that values the impact we can have on both believers and non-believers through our outreach ministry, both locally and globally.
The questionnaire and resume must be received by April 7, 2021 in order to be considered.
